Poll/Suggestions Zoo Tag Swap

Thank you so much guys. I have the coolest paper that goes with them and I have totally different set of paper & embellishments that more cutsie. So I am hoping for more than one group.

I need some Zoo stuff, too, for my books. Just didn't want it all to say Zoo. Of course, knowing me right now, I'll miss sign-ups totally! LOL!!

ok, I am going to throw another "kink" into the mix!!! What if we all decided on a size in one particular group so that in that grouping we could make a TAG BOOK when we got all the tags in? How does that sound???

I the idea of a tag book. This way we can make double sided tags on purpose.

I think I'm going to do groups of 6.... 2 of each theme..make 2 tags per person....
For example:
2 groups will be biomes (jungle, desert, africa(plains), waters, encounters (this is our petting zoo), forests...ANY OTHERS??
3 groups will be animals (no duplicates in a group)
2 groups will be zoo
1 group miscellaneous (anything goes)
1 group tag book (max number of people to be 10-15)

Does this sound okay???
Okay, back off to work on more swap items.. I will be picking up my DS from basketball camp...

Get out of my head woman!!! I soooo want to do a tag book swap but I thought it would be tough to do. If we did 1 tag double sides then we would have to have 2 themes per person.
If we did the tag book I would make it the biggest cricut size possible. I would cut blank tags for people if you want. I would just use a plain color cardstock then everyone could wall paper.

Let me put the groceries away and get the boys from the neighbors and I'll get back to you.

When are sign ups again??

The only extension we could do is til August 15th... that making it due to me the same time as the Show/Parades Swap... Which I can handle with no issues.. anything after that is out of the question for me because school starts on August 17th. My goal is to have everything in by the 15th and back in the mail by the following Monday because of the beginning of school.. As you know.. you have every one wanting parent meetings, back to school nights, PTO, and sports, practices, homework...

Remember sign ups for the zoo swap is 7/6... than I have the Show/Parade Swap on 7/9.... so we could have them both due on 8/15.... or extend them both back til the 9/7...

Swap Goddess, could we push these dates back til 9/7????
Any input would be appreciated... or keep the zoo swap as is.. and extend the Show/Parade swap....

Nope, you could check the swap calendar and give some dates to the swap goddess to see if we can do it. We could have groups of Pirates, Princess, Pets, Pooh, Mickey, Holidays. Six-eight to a group would make nice little albums.

Well, I know I want to do both the Zoo tag and the Show/Parade swap. Would it help if we started sign-ups sooner and had the due dates the same? Or, there is really nothing wrong with starting the sign-ups on 7/6 and 7/9 and extending to Aug. 15. I would just hate for you to get things too late for you to switch out once school starts and have you dealing with that stress.

Basically, I'm game for whatever you decide because I want to do both of them anyway.

Yeah! I like the idea of large tags for the book! How big are we talking? Nothing over 4X6 I hope? Then they just get too big! But I just thought if we all do 2 of them and we each get them all back, it would make a really cool tag book!!! Know what I mean? I was totally getting really excited about this prospect! I have always wanted a tag book and have never made one, and I thought Wow, what a great opportunity to have one!!!

So, I vote for 4X6 tags if you want to go really big. If Buffy is willing to cut them so they are all uniform in size and shape, then all the rest of the people have to do is paper them in whatever they want to do. Buffy, I will split the cardstock with you if you would like. I think we should use Bazzil. Just so it is nice and thick. Not sure how your cricut works with bazzil? You will have to let me know. We can just use a neutral color and then everyone can decorate as they wish. Cover it up or whatever. Let me know what you guys think!

As far as the due date is concerned, I vote for either 15 Aug or 9 Sep, whichever is easier for Nancy! If 9 Sep is easier, then that is great for me! You all know me! I am the BIGGEST Procrastinator in the group!!!! Just call me last minute charlie! "Oh it's Maria, she's late again..."
