This will be our first trip, but we have already planned mid day breaks into our daily plan.

We have a toddler so she needs a nap, plus we don't want to kill ourselves by not stopping.

Finally we are paying the money for CSR and we figure we should get some use out of the pool etc.

When we stayed at WDW monorail hotels we sometimes would break at midday--mostly for the kids (not that it helped LOL) and it didn't take much time on transportation.. But this time we stayed at a cabin in FW and went back at dinner...breaking at lunch and to go back to FW didn't make much sense--only being at the park a few hours and then leave.

I much preferred the dinner break.

We take breaks for meals and that's it. We usually go though when the parks aren't open until midnight and they close at 9 or 10pm, also when the weather is good and not :sunny: and hot as a flame. If the weather this March 2007 is really hot like last March then we might have to take breaks and relax and coooooool down a bit.

Next trip to WDW:Feb. or March 2007 at POR :cheer2:

I'm a NO! My visits to Disney are few and far in-between.. I take advantage of every moment I'm there. Then again, when it's just you it is easy to keep going, and going, and going...

We don't plan them ...just depends on how me and the kids DS8 and DD6 are feeling. I can tell you though, that if we dont' have a break they are almost worthless the next day.

For our upcoming trip have planned first 3 days without breaks but no evening activities, 4th day waterpark and maybe a park in evening and then days 5 - 8 have midday break scheduled and evening activities.

I am a definite non-break person. Since we are childless and go off-season, we usually just get up a little later and hit the parks by 10 or 11, hop around if we want to, then stay until fireworks time. When a break is needed, I prefer to leave the parks a little earlier, have dinner at a resort and spend the evening relaxing back at the hotel.

We don't have kids. We have gone with very tight plans and very loose plans. By far, my favorite trips were the ones where we went with loose plans, which included breaks during the day, a day off every few days, evening swims, and fewer ADR's. We are planning our next trip, which will be about 500 days or so from now. The trip is meant to celebrate my 40th birthday. I have plans for lots of down time, including several days with a mid-day break. Maggie

I never take breaks. I am not leaving the parks until I have done everything that I planned to do or until they turn out the lights. I may be some what of a commando but I have a ball being a commando. :thumbsup2 :cool1:

We always like to take a break. We start out early in our park of choice. Take a break for lunch, tanning/swim, some AC and back out to a park. There is no charge for re-entering a park and transportation is free. Why not? :thumbsup2

I take my midday break first thing in the morning. I sleep late. People are coming back for that midday break when I am just getting to the parks.

We always plan breaks for the middle of the day. We get to an non EMH park for opening and stay till 12 or slightly later. Then we go for a swim and a nap/ rest and shower. We go for dinner and enjoy some evening activitites. Is September you need a break due to the heat.

DH and I went last August for our anniversary alone and we did take a break almost every day. The one day we didn't take a break was not good, we ended up in bed early and grouchy. We would get up early, hit the parks, then go back and swim and sleep a little and then head to dinner and an evening at the parks. The heat did get to us, though, so that was a lot of the reason for the breaks.

I just got back from 3 days in WDW and we definately took our afternoon breaks. We stayed at OKW in a 2 bedroom and we loved having a nice cool place to relax. Two years ago when I stayed at Pop we didn't break, and I think that was primarily because of the small room.

DH and I always take an afternoon break to simply relax. We vacation at Disney three times year and find that if we take time out in the afternoon we enjoy the entire day much more. Since we eat our meals in our room a lot we usually plan on a late lunch which carries us well through the evening. It is not fun to be so tired by 9 at night that all you want to do is go to bed. That ruins the magic. DH and I always end each evening by going down to DTD even if it is for only 30 minutes.
