Poll regarding speculative dining plan changes

I voted for exclude the gratuity just because I tip in addition to the plan anyways. After I voted though, I remembered that for some of the foreign countries tipping isn't customary and others may feel they've spent enough on the plan and therefore not tip. I think in the long run, this route would hurt the waiters, not the consumers. JMHO

Sooo...I want to change my vote to increase the plan cost a few dollars.

I vote for no snack with CS. Those are for the most part nasty, we throw most of them away what ashame
There are soooooo many good things to snack on in WDW that I would never miss the CS dessert going away.

Please tell me you're joking. If you don't want them then why the heck do you take them? We can be so wasteful...

Sorry I guess wrong choice of words.... We didnt take them after we knew they were nasty But when we were new to the plan here are 10 of us getting a dessert that nobody liked. The next day different place, different dessert but again
So it wasnt/isnt like we get them to throw them away, we simply dont get them, now.
But on that note last visit I had some cm's saying "take it, its on the plan" after saying no thanks we dont want or like them, more than once they were put on our tray anyway.

I voted get rid of the CS dessert since the kids CS dessert is nasty anyway. the chocolate cake is good but that is about it. Anyway if we want dessert after lunch we can use a snack credit later for a good dessert. That seems to make the most sense to me.

Too late to add a choice to the poll, huh? My first choice would be, include either an appetizer or a dessert with the Table Service meal - not both.

I really like this idea. I voted for a sampler for the table - but I would prefer to have an option of one - dessert or appetizer. When we usually eat out, we never get appetizers or desserts. It's just too much food for us.

I wish you made this a multiple-choice question... I think the appetizer and dessert sampler at TS and getting rid of the dessert at CS are both good ideas.

Let's face it, if Disney is looking to squeeze an extra $5pp per day in profit out of the plan, just cutting a CS dessert isn't going to come close to doing that.

I like this one too. My dh loves to have an appetizer, while I prefer dessert. Dd never has an appetizer but always a dessert. Make it a choice.

Precisely... that's why I suggested a couple of things. Figure the CS dessert reprents Disney $1, maybe $1.50 of additional profit, including opportunity cost? So switching to appetizer and dessert samplers at TS could represent maybe another $3 profit? So will not $5, I think with those two things they can get pretty close.
