I suspect there are a larger number of disboard members or future members who mainly frequent the boards for a relatively short time period before a visit to WDW. This will produce poll results that will probably slide for a while. The poll may actually give a good indication of how the crowds differ over the course of the year but not any time soon. For example, it appears from poll results at the moment that January/February is a more crowded time at WDW than June/July.

We plan to stay at POP Century at the end of May for at least 8 nights. Visiting in May because we will be visiting with family that has to wait for school to end (son is a teacher).

We plan to visit in September on our own and take advantage of low crowds. Probably 6 or 7 nights; maybe stay at Poly.

The January/February numbers will also reflect all those states that have a "Winter Break" in February to go along with a "Spring Break" in April. Most, if not all, New England states have a "Winter Break" and I assume other states may do this as well. Years ago when our kids were in elementary school, we went to WDW in Feb.

Wednesday, April 6th, to Saturday, April 9th. Staying at BWV (1st time there). Flying. Primarily going for Flower and Garden Festival. Tiping point was decent hotel rate and air fare.

I'll be down there March 8-13th
For my birthday party:

I'll be doing a triple split stay this trip

One night at POFQ
One night at Poly
And 3 nights at YC CL!

The trip was originally just the YC, and I got such a fantastic deal on it that I couldn't cancel. So I added stays in different hotels and I'm super pumped! Going to try to slow down a bit and enjoy everything!

March for the 9 days before Easter. That's the time we've got to take. Going to stay 2 nights in a studio at VGF then a week in a 2 BDRM at BWV with DH's folks.

I chose March because it is split February 26 to March 5. Staying off site since there will be 6 adults. First trip with my daughters' fiancé both are engaged celebrating my daughters graduation from high school last spring and my stem cell transplant in October!!

Our first trip.

June 8-18. Party of 8. We will be staying in a 2 bedroom savanna view villa at Kidani Village.

June just fit into everyone's schedules without interfering with elementary, high school or college.

We may make one more trip this fall with just the 7 year old, still debating that one.

We are going in April for the Star Wars Dark Side 5k. We will be staying at OKW from April 10th (DS13's bday) thru April 16th. I am trying to convince DW that our 20th (May 25th) should be a redo of our honeymoon at OKW but I'm pretty sure we can't spring for two trips that close together!

Sept. 13 thru 20th...Daughter and I are DRIVING from NY to Universal on the 11th..staying there at US for two nights and arriving at Wilderness Lodge the night of the 13th...Just her and me!!! We have never stayed there and my daughter has always wanted to. She does most of the driving..doesn't trust me! Lol...we picked Sept. because of the FD and the Halloween decorations and party at Disney. She has never been at this time. We both need a get away and could not think of a better place to go to relax (?) and have fun!!!

December 7-11th, at POP Century. My husband, 3 brothers and I are taking my mom to Disney World for her first ever vacation, flying from Pittsburgh (Mom has never flown before either!). We wanted my mom to see Disney World at Christmas time, without paying the Christmas prices.

Just FYI - the poll allows for multiple votes. You can change your single March vote above and select both February and March since you are almost even between both.

We are booked for a Disney Cruise in April followed by a few days at Disney World. For the past couple of years my Mother In Law has invited us to Disney World with them in June/July. We are hoping to make a holiday trip again in November. :)

Arriving October 29th for 8 glorious nights in a two bedroom villa at Animal Kingdom Lodge kidani village! First trip all 8 of us and I think my parents are joining us.

Our trips for 2016:

4 days in Feb
8 days in late Mar/early Apr
11 days in June (with a 3 day Dream cruise)
2-3 days in October (with a 4 day Dream cruise)
4-5 days at Thanksgiving or the week between Christmas and New Years

Love our DVC!!!!!

When they say "welcome home" to your clan, they mean WELCOME HOME...

Congrats on deciding to visit the 'World! :yay: Pick your month(s) in the poll provided. You can select multiple months.

Let us know in your post when are you going, where you're staying, how you're traveling, why you chose that time frame, and how long you plan to be there. Note that due to software limitations, I had to double up a couple of months...

For example, we'll be there in about 10 days, staying at the CSR, flying in for about 5 days. We're hoping to take advantage of one of the last few low crowd periods on the calendar...

Arriving Feb 23 for my first stay at OKW in a 2br villa with my dad, his wife and my 3 kids (9, 7 & 4). I chose that time frame hoping the crowds would be low, but we shall see! Staying Tue-Sun.

I fly into Al Star Sports Feb 17th! My other friends get in on the 18th & are there til the 25th. They're running the marathon but I'm just there to cheer them on! I'm super excited, we're all ex-cm's and haven't seen each other since leaving our year of living in Florida!

I also voted Sept because I absolutely love Halloween, but it's up in the air. the bff and I are doing an Asia/Bali trip that will include all the parks over there, and re applying for another WDW contract to start Nov onwards so we'll see what happens!

We are flying in on Jan 27th for 6 days into early Feb. We are staying value for the first time - going to All Star Movies. So excited to see a new/different resort!

It will be my SonILs first visit ever - actually even to Florida! He's in the Army. We're so excited to show him around.

We are also going to my home town of Venice, FL for a visit with Mom and Dad and to see the beach for a day.

I'm going in February with DH, staying at CR. Picked because it is Leap Day. We are flying
I'm going in April with 4 generations of women, My mom, me, DD and DGD. My mom's first trip. Staying at CR. Picked because of Flower and Garden AND Star Wars Race. We are flying.
I'm going in August with DGD and DH. Resort not chosen. Picked because we go just before school starts back. Transportation method unknown for now. We can drive or fly. Will drive unless I get a deal on airfare
I'm going in Oct with DH. Resort not final but likely BWI. Picked for Food and Wine. Transportation method unknown.

Most likely we'll go at least 1 other time and will base it on any opening events in relation to new items at AK or Epcot.
