Poll on buying CRV?

Interesting piece of math (if I didn't screw it up) from both polls:

CRV
Total votes = 132
Total of Both Positive Votes = 65 = 49.24%
Total of Both Negative Votes = 67 = 67.5%

VAKL
Total votes = 133
Total of Both Positive Votes = 77 = 57.79%
Total of Both Negative Votes = 56 = 42.11%

If I have the money, I'd like to add on to my SSR contract next year. With all the SSR bashing that goes on, I'm thinking it means that there will always be rooms available for me when I want to visit!

Not likely to buy at CRV, BUT maybe it will bring down prices on BCV resales. I wouldn't mind having a few more points there.

Interesting too that the total votes are so similar. Looks like DVC should rethink that CRV!

The Contemporary doesn't do much for me, either. If the "re-design" the CRV and make it something AMAZING...well, maybe. But, I don't really care much for ANY contemporary design/architecture.

Years ago we looked into buying a DVC but their locations did not interest me.

I told DH we should buy into DVC if and only if a DVC is built with access to the monorail.

So if they build a DVC at the Contemporary please count me in!

I voted "no". We just don't have an interest in the CR area. To us the perfect place to stay is the Epcot area. Adding on some more BCV and a few BWV is all that we are looking to do. They are the only places we wish to own at, especially if things come to down to a "own where you want to stay".

They poll is certainly interesting though.

From the poll results so far, it looks to me like they should downsize the CRV plans and increase the size of the VAKL! Definitely more interest on these boards in the VAKL than the CRV.
