I book it all. I enjoy planning it all myself and I especially love looking for the bargains, discounts, and codes. If I didn't already have a fun job, I think that I'd love to be a travel agent or vacation planner!

Wouldn't it be great to be a disney travel agent?

We have done it ourselves when not staying on-site, for staying on-site we have used Dreams Unlimited once and for our upcoming trip we used Magical Journey's.

Three for Dreams Unlimited.

We've booked cruises through them in the past and our upcoming WDW vacation. The agent always got back to us in a reasonable amount of time when we e-mailed a question or an add on to the vaction. And if we have not sent in something to them; they get in touch with us to find out how things are going and can they do anything for us.

I love the obsession of it all...I have a serious problem I think..

Feel the same way!! To me that is half the fun and I am a little bit of a micro manager when I plan, wouldn't be able to let someone else plan my vacation for me!!

I prefer to book it myself online at Disney Travel. I tried using AAA once and although it saved us about $200 I found it to be a big hassle.

I book through an on-line Travel Agent The Magic for Less. They'll sit on the phone and make my adrs so I don't have to get up at 6:00am CT to do it, and they don't cost me any more!

Dreams Unlimited. Debbie Lasher is my agent and she takes very good care of us! She offers to take care of my ADR's, but I like to do that myself. I like the fact she finds the codes for me so I don't have to keep checking on that. And so far, every request I have made has been granted. So she's either got pull or is my good luck charm. Either way, I love having her handle the resort reservation end of things for me.

I book it myself/ I prefer to make and call to CRO but my husband will book using the Disney website

We book through Fairytale Dreams & Destinations, for several reasons:

(1) Nobody knows more about Disney parks than they do IMO;
(2) I can contact them via email and/or phone;
(3) They are a Canadian travel agency, which is important to me;
(4) They absolutely pounce on any available discounts or deals for us immediately;
(5) They make all ADRs for us;
(6) Their services cost us nothing (Disney pays them);
(7) They're very friendly and helpful; and
(8) They are awesome and I'm thankful others referred them to us last year - we wouldn't book any other way now

Count us in as another group of fans of Fairytale Dreams & Destinations!!

We would never book a trip ourselves after our incredible experience with their firm. They are top-notch from start to finish....theere was even a "welcome home" email greeting us in our inbox when we returned.

For all of our trips we have used a TA at The Magic for Less. I would have no issue doing it myself, its just easier for us to do it that way.

I've always used a travel agent for vacations...in the past I thought things would be too complicated, time consuming and more expensive if I tried doing it myself.

This time was different... I did lots of research before booking...knew what I was willing to pay, what prices were generally available, and went into their office with a pretty good heads up on what to expect.

My TA got me the same deal that I would have been able to get for myself. I made all ADR's myself, and I'm now patiently waiting for her to send my documents (patience is wearing thinner though...we're 3 weeks out...)

I still would use a TA, even if I know I can do it on my own, simply because it it helping the business without any extra cost to me. I'm not spending any more to use them, and it's helping to keep a business running. It may be frustrating to wait for a middle man to stay on the ball, but I'm not at the point (yet) that this inconvenience is enough for me to say "never again will I use a TA"... Talk to me in another week, I may have a different opinion.
