The poll is utterly flawed. I find it dismal, terrible, and a bad decision for WDW as a whole. I will also use it likely and expect it likely will be included in my DVC or AP.

Like various things helps me hurts others likely in the end. Its nice but also bad/sad.

I chose the Hate it. Will not use option. I will use the free part though. Now that I'm getting older and have health issues I can no longer go on the fun and crazy rides that are in high demand. They built Star Wars land without a single ride I can go on! I love rides like Peter Pan and Haunted Mansion so I still have fun and am by nature a glass is half full person. But they are making this a very expensive trip! My family goes every year now since 2006 and sometimes twice a year. My family would be shocked that I'm thinking our 50th Anniversary trip might be our last in a while. Perhaps change to a short resort only stay at Poly since I have never stayed there.

I'm hoping the Genie will make finding wait times easier than the current MDE method of expanding the graphic until I can see the times and then having to select the time to see which ride it's referring. A list would be nice. If the Genie can figure out what we're interested to list it accordingly and not include all the carnival rides would be a bigger plus.

I don't intend to purchase anything - there's no ride that I "have to" experience presently. If I don't mention the pay option than DH will forget about it. LOL.
MDE already does have the option to see a list. Just change the filter in the top left to whatever park you're at and then tap "show list" in the top right corner of the screen and it will bring up a list of rides and their wait times.

Even before fast pass I found waiting times to be very long. They were agony. I don't see why people say fast pass made lines much worse. They were still very bad. So I very much was happy to go on my favorite rides without waiting. Then go waiting on shorter lines for less popular attractions.
Watch I have to eat my word and this genie turns out to be a great success. But there is absolutely no way I am going to have to be up at 7am to anxiously compete with many thousands of others for one fast pass. Night at WDW is my favorite time and on vacation there is no way I am rushing back to my room every night for an early bed time.

I will have to wait and see how it plays out. I will probably pay to by-pass the Stand-By queue, but want to see if others find it worthwhile or not.

We are 1-2 years away from our next possible trip so I'm in a wait and see mode. I know I won't like getting up at 7 each morning for ride selections though.

I will most likely buy it as an insurance policy against all the other money we've already committed to this trip. I'm just glad I'm not going when its first launched and will get to see / read about how it works for the first month or so.
