Poll for VGF Owners -

I hope this is the case. Just bought into VGF for the resort studios
(Also own at BWV)

Me, too. We like to spend 2 or 3 nights in the MK area before we move to our 1 bedroom at BWV. Resort studios are perfect for that. Really don't want to have to walk to get our preferred late November/early December reservation.

Those concerned about increased competition for the deluxe studios may be correct for the more popular times of the year ( it's already hard), but I'm not so sure about other times (for 11 month bookers). I also think the relatively high points required for the 1 and 2 bedroom villas will discourage recent buyers from rushing to book those. So many prefer to stay longer and stretch their points. Also, it appears DVC is not done adjusting the charts to account for the higher demand for the last 3 months of the year. If that's correct, it should also encourage the studio bookings over the larger villas.

I've said this before, but IMO, those who have become accustomed to getting into the VGF at 7 months, have the most to worry about. We shall see. Might be wishful thinking, LOL.

We added on 200 points last week (own at BCV and BLT) and were able to get 2 nights in early Dec no problem (lake view, which was what we wanted). Waited 30 minutes on hold. Looking forward to staying at our new home!

Exactly my thinking. I got a small contract for split stays a couple of times a year. I agree the resort studio will be perfect… and really the price couldn’t be beat! Hoping that December reservations continue to be as easy as this year

Exactly my plan! A few nights at VGF for monorail and MK access, followed by a longer stay at BWV

I’ve booked 4 three-night stays between now and year end including one for Fall break, Run Disney, Thanksgiving weekend, and 1st week of December. My longest wait time was 20 minutes and all other wait times were single digits.

So far, pretty easy to book on the phone with plenty of availability. The DVC MS reps have all been very helpful!

Called MS on the dot at 9 AM and only waited a couple of minutes. They were able to move my TWO standard view resort studio room reservations to a check in date of February 28th (both rooms for 3 nights, hoping to get connecting).

I’m also hoping to do a similar VGF stay in October for 3-4 nights, but will have to use some of my Boardwalk points for that, so will be online with the masses in May when the online booking opens up
