Are reservations recommended for popular table service restaurants during July and if so, how far in advance?

We absolutely fell in love with Mythos when we went! That ended up being the only place we went to eat inside the parks! The first day, we ate there because I simply HAD TO as I had heard so many great things about it. The second day, we considered trying some place new.. but in the end we looked at each other and decided we wanted to go back to Mythos again!

I don't know if it was because the atmosphere was so soothing after a chaotic, busy morning at the parks, or that the host and servers were so sweet, or that the food was delicious.. It was one of the highlights of our trip!

It is advisable to make reservations. You just do it online at opentable.com or nextable.com

I'm not familiar at all with the dining options at US. We've been there twice, each time just grabbing whatever counter service we could find. In November we're going back and will be there for a whole day (before we retreat to the much more familiar WDW). Is there a better "sit down" dining option that we should try? We'd prefer something in the Potter sections, but I don't suppose that is a requirement.

Just shows how things change........I would choose Mythos and Confisco now out of the choices given on this poll........
