The recent announcement of a Tron coaster coming to MK has got me wondering if Disney someday plans to launch FP tiering in MK. Part of me thinks it is entirely possible. Then the other part of me thinks it's not likely nor necessary due to the sheer number of attractions in this park.

Do you think FP tiering in MK will ever happen? If yes, which attractions do you think would qualify for Tier 1 status?

No.
Thankfully there are a lot of attractions at MK and a lot of them are popular, I don't see the need to frustrate guests by limiting them.

The only reason they were limited at DHS and Epcot because of the severe lack of FP "worthy" attractions. I mean .. at Epcot .. if there was no tiering .. almost EVERYONE would just FP for Soaring, Test Track and Frozen.
At DHS . there was only 5 rides TOTAL .. so they had to FP there for the same reason. The fact have shows in the FP list is laughable as they aren't needed (and don't save you any time really).

I like the approach at AK by limiting you to one ride in the new area. Hopefully that is temporary until the excitement of the new land dies down.

Once Tron shows up at MK, yes, it will be popular and may be impossible to get a FP for awhile (like SDMT was), but since that will probably have a height limit, I am sure FPs will be distributed around still.
