RE: Hurricane Charlie, 8/13/04
This would probably be a survey rather than a poll.
Anyone want to post eyewitness accounts of when/if power was lost/restored in their resort or at parks, or whether parts of the resort kept power?
Since I was told that WDW generates a third to a half of its power needs, it would be interesting to get an idea of what parts of the World kept power and how precisely priority power needs such as refrigeration could be met.
Street lights and traffic lights out too?

Providing priority power from a central limited capacity power station would have to have two sets of wires going to each location, which is something Imagineering could do although expensively. Rotating blackouts is another alternative that would minimize refrigeration problems.
(Or do resorts have backup diesel powered generators?)
