For those of you how used DCL flights. Which airline did you fly?

We used DCL air for two trips. The airlines we flew were United, American, and US Air out of the midwest.

I know you didn't ask, but suffice it to say, I will never book air with DCL again because of the possibility of layovers. Everyone on our plane missed the connecting flight home because DCL didn't allow enough time between connecting flights and because of that, we were stranded for 6 hours. Didn't get home til 1 AM (btw, this was not hurricane season). Also, if you want to request direct flights, there is an extra charge.

There are a few advantages using DCL air, but I will take my chances in the future and book my own.

We had Delta out of PDX (Portland Oregon). We had a layover in Dallas/Ft. Worth on the way there and Salt Lake City on the way back.

what is the extra per person charge for direct flights? i have always booked myself and probably will keep it that way, but these last few weeks sure make us think

So it looks like almost everyone that voted got booked on Delta.

The first cruise we went on we used the air add-on package. I loved the baggage handling & the motorcoaches, but didn't like waiting to find out what my travel itinerary was. So the last two cruises we've booked our air travel ourselves and added motorcoach transfers on separately. That worked quite well!
