poll : best time to be at pools

ANYTIME IS FINE!! I LOVE THE DISNEY POOLS ...I PREFER THEM WHEN THERE ARE PEOPLE BUT NOT goobers of people :flower:

God, I don't know about anyone else, but on our cruise in Jan.they were always crowded, expcept late at night. The Mickey pool was a giant pool of bacteria, as far as I was concerned! LOL Thankfully we are Floridians and my son never asked to use the pool.

I agree....I could really do without the pools.....The Mickey one was downright gross by afternoon time and the one time I took my daughter tot he goofy one it was so murky you couldn't even see the bottom. If she wants to go to the Mickey Pool I will take her first thing in the morning each day before it has the chance to become that lovely grayish brown color!

The only time my 11 year old really used the pool and slide was when the kids club had a pool party at night. I'm so glad they did, at least he got to try the slide! The pools were probably my one disappointment with the Disney cruises.

We went religiously at about 7am each morning. DD had the pool to herself for an hour or so, then kids started filling in, but we were able to stay a couple more hours without a problem. I wouldn't do it in the afternoon though...

Erin :)

I use the pools when the ships are on dock and many people are off the boat doing excursions!! :earsboy: except castaway cay, of course!!

Early mornings and port days were nice times at the pools with my twin sons (age 7), as the pools were very quiet then. They would continually switch between the slide (at Mickey's pool), the Goofy hot tubs and the Goofy Pool. It was really hard to keep up with them when the pools were crowded! :earboy2:

The children's pools were always packed so full you really couldn't move aound. I'd say go early....like 7 am if you want to get in the pool with your children. The adult pool, while crowded on the deck, had very few people in the water.
