Ok.. where should Dh & I go for a killer slab o' beef?:wizard:

I actually asked the cm I was on the phone with yesterday what her favorite Disney restaurant is. She said she loved steak and councourse is her favorite. Now that it's closing she suggesting Bluezoo and then Le Cellier. So I guess the cm votes Le Cellier but I'm dying to try Yachtsmen. Aren't I helpful?;)

I love them both. It really depends on what kind of atmosphere you're looking for.

LeCellier is in a theme park. As a result, it's more crowded, more rushed, and more hectic. That said, the food is wonderful and the staff is great.

Yachtsman, because it's in a hotel, is more relaxed. The food is also wonderful, but the restaurant itself is more spacious, it's a little bit fancier, it's much more relaxed, and you can take your time without feeling like you missing out on something.

You really can't go wrong with either one.

We like them both for different reasons and couldn't make a decision for our upcoming Jan trip so we are doing both.

Went this past Sept, had a good steak at LeCellier, you may not believe this Coral Reef and Boatwright's, and not as good a steak at Rose and Crown & San Angle ( but steak and shrimp combo not too bad)
But I never tried some of those mentioned above, so I'll have to keep my eye on this post to see there to get my ADR's next year.

I think RSoxFan hit the nail on the head. We have eaten at both and the steaks are great, but YSH definitely has a more upscale steakhouse feel.

DH is a huge steak eater (not all the time; just to splurge) and for his upcoming bday trip we are going to YSH, Le Cellier and Concourse!

Le Cellier is good but if we're talking about steak, I don't see any comparison! Yaughstman, unequivocably!

I love the steaks at Yachtsman. The whole resturant was wonderful. Le Cellier is also very good.

Last December we ate at the Yachtsman for the first time. It was exquisite. The filet, the fingerling potatoes and the chocolate fudge dessert (can't remember the name)....stomache's growling with the memory.

my vote is shula's
second would be Jiko

We ate at LeCellier last trip and I was not very impressed with the steak I had (I had the mushroom filet). Sadly, it reminded me of chewy, chopped steak flavor. Next trip we are definitely trying Yachtsman.

I've had good steaks at the California Grill.

We have as well. Also at Flying Fish and my husband's favorite steak is the one at Jiko.

Le Cellier is one credit - and I doubt you'll find a better one credit steak at Disney.

Yachtsman will cost you two credits (or if you pay on cash, the entree will likely be about $10 more). However, you generally (not always) get what you pay for.

There is also personal taste. I remember one poster in a thread like this saying they preferred Outback to Ruth's Chris. While that would probably be the minority opinion - it is your own taste.

I ate a LOT of steak on my recent vacation, and Yachtsman's was by far the best, food-wise and service-wise. It far surpassed my expectations. Yun was my server, and she was very nice, friendly, attentive. EVERYONE who worked there was so pleasant to us, it was just the nicest place. (It beat out Narcoose's for me on service, and that wasn't an easy feat!)

That steak...it was absolutely fantastic, the best I've had anywhere on or off property.
