poll-best character breakfast, in your opinion

We love Chef Mickey done it twice. We also love Liberty Tree Tavern, good food and great character interaction. Crystal Palace is also very good. We did Garden Grill on last trip, we did not care for it that much.

My dd loved the princess breakfast at epcot 2 yrs in a row, and she suprisingly did not really like lunch at cinderella's castle (neither did my wallet). There was not as much princess time at the castle as there was in epcot. We are trying chef mickeys this sept. I heard it is great.
Good Luck

For me, the best character breakfast is a tie between Chef Mickey's & Crystal Palace. Both have good food, great atmospheres, wonderful character interaction & good service. Both are very enjoyable & alot of fun. IMO, you can't go wrong with either.

Chef Mickey's for breakfast. For are upcoming trip we are going to Chef Mickey's for dinner and breakfast. Can't wait to try their dinner

Chef Mickey is our favorite and is a must each trip. The food is great and the selection is really good. The character's interact with each person in your party. We have both breakfast and dinner and just feel this is the best. We have been to the breakfast buffet at Animal Kingdom and the breakfast with Pooh and Friends and just didn't find them to be as good. So it's back to Chef Mickey for us in August 08.

Chef Mickeys is the bomb! You can meet all your favorite clasic Disney Stars! An where else can you spin your napkin around in air! :woohoo: I went last year and the whole family had a ball! The Crystal Pallace was a lot of fun too, I'm not crazy about pooh but my youngest brother Jason (age 8 at the time) loved it! They had a little parade around the restuarnt and me and my brothers got to be in it.

This year my family and I are having lunch with the Princesess at Epcot! I have not been to this one becasue truth be told, I'm not a huge princess fan and I have two younger brothers but I booked it for my cousin Ashlyn (age 11) who's a big princess fan right after she gets her hair, nails, and makeup done at the BBB four the ultimate Dreams come ture vacation. This will be her first trip too! I'm really excited to play dream maker this year! princess:

I'll also be going with my Cousin Dave. he's pretty much my partner in crime and we are constantly pulling pranks on each other. For the Disney Trip I'm going to make him his own holiday! Well, we'll get close! That night we'll be having dinner at Chef Mickey's and I'm trying to get a cake orderd for him that says "Happy Dave Day" on it!

Crystal Palace has the best food & really good character interaction. (Pooh & Friends) O'hana has a great environment & great character interaction as well.(Lilo, Stitch, Mickey & Gang)pooh: :tigger: :eeyore: :stitch2:::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo

LOVE Ohana for bfast and Crystal Palace for dinner also 1900 Park Faire for dinner with Cinderella is magical :goodvibes

For breakfast, Chef Mickey's was BY FAR my favorite! We just did this for the first time a few weeks ago and I am already craving to go back!
Loved the breakfast foods of course, but it was so wonderful to see all the classic characters.....you just can't beat good ol' Mickey Mouse and gang.

We went to the Donald's Safari breakfast @ AK and Ohana, did the rest of the character meals for dinner. But we loved the Donald's breakfast over Ohana. Both were great, but I thought the character interaction and the food were better @ AK. We did Chef Mickeys for dinner, and I didn't get good character interaction there at all, oddly. The BEST for character interaction of all was at 1900 Park Faire for the Cinderella dinner, and it was the stepmother and stepsisters that were the greatest there! So funny and lots of time. But we got the sweetest with my dd and Prince Charming when they were having the "ball" and he held out his hand to dance with her... she got all shy and "hid" against Daddy.. I don't think we had a bad meal during our trip and we also did Crystal Palace in there, they were all great.

We go to the character breakfast at the Crystal Palace in the MK every time we visit WDW. We find the character interaction excellent. The food is wonderful.

Another vote for Crystal Palace. Our all time favorite character breakfast (we have also done Chef Mickey's and Minnie's Menehue (now Ohanas) and the Princess Breakfast at in Norway. We are trying Cape May Cafe this year because we hear it is really good, along iwth our usual trip to the Crystal Palace for the puffed french toast and hugs from Pooh and Eeyore and the others.

Cape May is at the Beach Club resort. It is our second favorite for breakfast; Crystal Palace is #1 for us.

Thank you for the info. I will definately have to make plans for Cape May on our next trip. I enjoyed Crystal Palace Lunch. Chef Mickey's is our favorite for dinner, and I love Cindy's Breakfast in the castle. :goodvibes

We will have to try Chef Mickey's; have heard so many good things about it! By the way, my mom used to live in Sand Springs and absolutely loved it. She especially misses it during our cold weather.

I think it depends on the 'kids' in your group and what characters they most want to see.

If your little one wants princesses than getting dressed up can be truly magical.

For little boys, Little Einsteins could be great.

Who doesn't love Mickey? or Winnie the Pooh.

I have to say though, this last trip I was kind of disappointed by the Crystal Palace. the food was okay, not the best, and the character interaction was lousy.

I think if you pick one of the top two places (CP and CM) you're more likely to be rushed through your meal - at least in terms of the character interaction. If you pick one of the lesser known places, I think you are more likely to get better character interaction.

I lived in Sand Springs and went to school there from Jr. high to high school. It is a nice suburb of Tulsa.:)
