Went to see Senator Obama in Charleston yesterday, and thought I'd share a couple shots that I took:

Senator Jay Rockefeller and his wife introduced Obama:

Had a heck of a time, even though he didn't speak for very long.

Nice pics. Just wondering if you shot in RAW at all. The white balance could be fixed to make the flag stripes look nice and white and it would take the yellow cast (from the indoor lights) out of the pictures entirely.

Didn't even think of that. :teeth: I don't usually shoot in RAW format, but then I'm still somewhat of a newbie when it comes to this stuff, so I'm still learning.

You can white balance jpgs. The technique is pretty much the same. The downside is that you're working with file that has been reduced to 256 (8 bit) levels per color channel rather than 4,096 (12 bit) or even 16,384 (14 bit).

Wow, I've never even tried that. I'll try to go back and save some of my older (pre-RAW) pics then! Thanks.
