for those of you in the empty right quandrant, is it safe to say that you are generally socially liberal (or at least don't want many social issues legislated) and fiscally conservative?

I know lots of people like that, and there just doesn't seem to be any politicians or a mainstream political party to represent them. That sucks---IMO it seems a 3 party system is in order.

Very similar score here:

Economic Left/Right: -6.88
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.56

I think that shows as a little left of Ghandi.

Not sure if many people noticed but there is also a chart that shows where Stalin, Hitler, Ghandi, Thatcher and Friedman fell. Or the link to where the Presidental Candiates fell on this chart. Interesting.

The second quiz has been around for quite a few years (I remember it back in the early 1990s) and was created by someone affiliated with either the Libertarian Party or the Advocates for Self-Government (a libertarian organization). The higher your score the closer you are to libertarianism, so in that respect I guess you could say it's biased.

One thing I will say about both of these quizzes is that they show that political affiliation isn't a simple matter between left and right or liberal and conservative.
