Late last year someone jumped from a ferry. There have been at least a couple Contemporary jumps since my time here. Definitely too many.

2019 we had the ferry suicide attempt (she was saved). 2018 the CM suicide in a car near the Swan and Dolphin.

So like once a year or every 2 years. Any is too much but considering there are something like 100-200k people on property every single day, that’s pretty good.

It’s lower than the national average of almost every country And 10x less than the US national average per capita.

I remember Jim Hill once said that the Contemporary has a special tent ready at all times for when this happens.. I think it has happened a few times more than people know
