I do not think that a certain job entitles one to special discounts. Whether that would be police officers or SAHMs. None of us were made to be a certain thing. We all chose what we wanted to do so we should learn to live with the consequences and not expect a handout. I am a registered democrat but am really a moderate. I vote for as many republicans as I do democrats. I voted for the first Bush, really liked him, but think this one is a bumbling idiot. I think he lied about the reasons of going to war and that our troops are there for no good reason. With that being said, I do support my troops. They are doing their job and a good one at that. I really hope we get them all out there quickly as it is a waste of our human life that they are there. Just because I can't stand our president does not mean I don't have respect for our law enforcement, firemen, and troops.

This is exactly what I meant! It seems as though one professes to support our troops, law enforcement officers, and firefighters, the ones that don't want them to get the discount are ones who despise this administration! I'm still reluctant to get into a political debate in the Disney forum, but the President never lied about Iraq. Also, although it isn't widely reported in the media (but when it is, it's immediately pooh-poohed), there have even been weapons found--the sarin, the bioweapons factories, and even the recent report of an intent to purchase Uranium which proves a nuclear program. A good book to read is Stephen F. Hayes' Connection, which details the links between Al Quaeda and Iraq. Although the "spin" on the recent 9-11 commission findings would leave one to believe that there was NO connection, it's just not true.
