All parts of this plant are poisonous. The sap may cause skin irritation in sensitive individuals. Children can be poisoned by sucking the nectar from the flowers. Insects or diseases rarely trouble Carolina Jessamine. Deer will not eat it.

this is another plant that takes very little ingestation to kill.

Tons of plants are poisonous. Digitalis (foxglove) and privet hedges come to mind immediately. When I had Matt, I made sure I knew what was poisonous because we spent quite a bit of time outside in the garden.

I know my Monkshood is poisonous. Although I don't grow it (my parents do), rhubarb leaves are a no-no too!

Hmmmm.....it's rhubarb time...pie time! :) I think I should look for that old rhubarb thread.

he knows not to put anything in his mouth outside....speaking of putting things in your mouth DID you guys see the news and those IDIOTS eating KATTIE DIDS!!!!

Good Gosh what could have been going thru their minds to eat a bug much less a KattieDid????!???!????

Don't mean to, but I grow vines of poison ivy, thank you to all of my feathered friends for seeding the garden, sigh.
