i was prescribed prednisone once and got a nasty infection while on it ,so i was really worried about getting that again,glad the scripted cream is working.I'm sure that works for most people but , I'm on plaquenil for my RA so i dont know if that combined with the prednisoone just destroys my imune system enough to not be able to fight infections.

Roll on Ban Antipersparant. Well actually any AP should work, it's the drying agent in it.

If I notice the first rash, and use the Elocon, I can sometimes avoid the big reaction. My doctor writes a new prescription for that stuff everytime I run out, just in case. You are not supposed to use it on your face, but I did once when I was desperate. Didn't seem to do any harm, and I got rid of the rash on my face overnight.

You can get a milder version that can be used on the face if it's an emergency but very sparingly. Usually between the shot & pills, you don't need much of the cream
