Perhaps a stupid question for my first post,Hello everyone
I plan to visit WDW in Sept this year 2008 and own 150 pts,my use year is Dec 2007.
My question is if I borrow points(I have also 5 left over)is it correct that I can use 455 points for that trip.

I'm not sure about your math, either....if you got 150 points in December 2007, and you borrow all the points from your 2008 use year, and you have 5 left over from the previous use year, you'll have 305 points to work with.

Not sure where the other 150 points are coming from? Do you have banked points, maybe?

With a 150 contract the most points you could use would be 450. This would be banking one year and borrowing from the following year. I too am not sure where the extra 5 points come into play......but from the sounds of it you may only have 305 points to use in your 08UY.

If you have 5 points banked from 2006, and 150 points from 2007, then you could borrow 150 points from 2008 for a total of 305 maximum for that reservation.

With 150 points, the most you could ever use for a reservation is 450 points. (bank 150 from year 1, use 150 from year 2, and borrow 150 from year 3)

You would be booking with just 5 points from the current use year and 150 points from your next use year ('08), so the most you would have for this trip is 155.

It sounds to me like you purchased a resale that had most of the points already used.

I suspect we don't really have enough information to answer this question definitively. It is hard to figure out from your post if the "5 extra points" is banked points from the '06 year or are what is left from your current use year. My above answer is if they are from the current use year. If indeed they are '06 banked points, then the answer is 305 points available. We need a bit more information to give you a real answer.
