Points while waiting on Disney?

We just submitted to Disney on a resale contract. We are trying to buy 100 points at AKV. This is our first contract. The use year is March and there are 70 2018 points. I’m worried about banking those points. Should I ask the broker to have the sellers bank those points? I just don’t want to lose them and I have no shot at using them before March. Thanks

It can either be done or it can’t. “Frowned upon” doesn’t matter.

When we bought we had the sellers bank points as it would have been beyond the banking deadline by the time we got access to the points. I would ask if I were you but you should still have enough time to close and bank those points yourself if they can't/won't.
