Sorry guys if this topic has been discussed before but I can never get the dang search function when it is actually turned on. My question is - I have reserved a 1 BR at BWV (my home resort) for 10/5-10/11 of this year and was perfectly happy with that decision. Now some other post has put the idea in my head about switching to BCV when it opens (mainly because I'll have an almost one year old and the atmosphere seems like it may be a little calmer than BWV plus we'd have access to the ever-popular SAB). The points I'm spending on the 1 BR at BWV for a week is 214. Does anyone have a guess as to what the points value at BCV would be for that same time and size accommodations. I'll still be perfectly happy if we're at the BWV but I am intrigued. Also does anyone know where the BCV will be in relation to the Beach Club or can they point me in the direction of a artists rendering? Thanks in advance!
P.S. Am I off-base for thinking the atmosphere at the BCV would be a little more laidback than BWV?

If you are staying in a preferred view at BWV, the points are exactly the same. BCV's point chart is the same as VWL or BWV Preferred. There will be only one view at BCV.

The villas are towards the front and towards Epcot in relation to the front of the Beach Club. I think there may be a drawing at www.disneyvacationclub.com

I'm not sure how different the atmosphere will be. The BCV will be a much smaller complex than BWV and possibly quieter....but I don't think a major difference.

Points for BCV are the same as BW preferred points so it will be the same as your BW stay-214 points. The Villas are located to the left Of the BC main entrance. The are parrallel to Epcot resorts Blvd- the access road that buses take from BC to BW. I think they are tucked away and may be a little quieter, but I was at BWV at NY's and on the non BW side it was quite peaceful. You may enjoy SAB but a one year old won't know the difference. They are both wonderful resorts and I think you would be happy at either one! Sorry I don't have the link
