Points Transfer Question

A friend of mine transfered points into our account so we can take a May 2010 vacation. When I was talking with MS they reminded me that each member can only execute one transfer of points per year. I should have asked but didn't, is it one transfer in the calander year that the transfer took place or is it 365 days from the date of the transfer?

We are thinking about buying into BLT. But my wife's main concern was having enough points to bring our parents & siblings out every few years. Is there a "market" for us to puchase points from other members & have them transfered to us?

I thought it was one per USE year, not calendar year.

I also thought it was use year.

It is one transfer per use year, you can make more than one in a calendar year (in fact you could theoretically make more than one in the same day) as long as it is different use years.

You are correct. I was told by MS once that it was calendar year but I just checked the rules and found out that it is UY.
