Depends on the number of points requested. It seems people who have use-year issues (meaning they can't bank them or they are in hold-over) are renting them for $11.00 per point or less. However, we aren't in stress (just had our second child, so won't be using our points this year) and little more patient. We think the range is closer to $12.00 to $13.00 per point for the SSR and/or Beach Club points. Grand Floridian is a different value, in my estimation. Hard to know where those points rent for now (they are selling north of $150 per point direct, which is often the correlation point in renting, in my opinion). However, we are open to your thoughts and suggestions.

I am new to this but am looking at options for September 2014. We would need a 2BR. With you owning at different resorts how far out could the reservations be made? Also, would like to stay in the $12/point range. My original DVC contact was not able to rent to us due to not having enough points for our reservation. Thanks!

You can book up to 11 months out at your home resort. The only place we could probably accommodate you is at Saratoga Springs because of the number of points you will need. How many nights are you thinking? Either way, I don't think a reservation can be made for your trip until 11 months prior to check-in (October range).

We do have them available. Renting for $12.50 per point.

I just checked now. I found Saratoga Springs has the following nights available: 23rd, 24th, 25th and 26th. They just don't have the 27th (which may be the most important one). That resort has the largest inventory (so highest likelihood for success). Let me know your thoughts.
