Points shy...

Hi all,
I'm new to DVC and I have a question that I'm hoping someone can answer. We have a reservation in January at BLT/BCV. For the BLT part we are in a LV. We would like to see if we can changew that to a MK view. The problem is we are ** shy, I have to go look. Is it possible to pay a cash difference for the ** points that I'm short?

No, you cannot pay a combination of points and cash for any given night.

Other possibilities include:

borrowing the ** needed from the next year (assuming you haven't borrowed all of the next years points already).

doing a split stay with some of the nights lv, and some mk view

Paying cash for the whole first or last night and banking the leftover unused points

To my knowledge, you cannot buy points through Member Services. You have a couple of options, you can attempt to 'buy' * points that another member is willing to transfer to you....OR...you can pay cash for one of your nights and save the remaining points for your next trip.

Hope that gives you a couple points to ponder...

It may be difficult to find a member willing to transfer ** points over

to you because that will use up their 1 transfer per year privilege ( and

yours as well ). Booking night on cash through MS may be best option

and hopefully 25% member's discount will be available too
