points set for cruise

Don't know if this is right place for, this but wanted opinions on this with all the renting going on and the fact that WDW are probably watching this does anyone think that with people renting for 8/9 dollars a point (which they are totally within thier right to do, so no problem with that) that they are using this to devalue the points against a cruise. interested to see what others think

I think their points must be getting ready to expire. I am not going to rent so cheap if I rent. The rooms are going up, tickets are going up, cruises are going up and then people rent their points for less. I don't get it.
