Points rental question

Hi, we are considering renting points again this next year. However, our stay is split over two different point periods. The first two days being higher than the last five. Does each day get charged the corresponding daily points? If that is the case, it uses less points than the weekly rate starting at the higher timeframe.

DVC is based on daily points according to a calendar day. Though point charts are created with weekly rates, each day has a point value. When pricing, you add up each calendar day you are renting for a total amount of points. Vacations often cross over into more expensive or less expensive periods thus the daily rate for calculating your point *cost*.
