Points Question

Hi,

I just made ressies for a trip to OKW in July and customer service told me that I have 70 points from my 2000 use year that had to be used by April 2002. My question is, do the points have to actually be used by this date or can they be committed to a vacation in the summer of 2001 by this date? We are taking a Disney Cruise next summer and I was hoping to be able to use these points. Thanks in advance.

It appears you have points that were banked from your 2000 use year into your 2001 use year. Those points would have to be used during your 2001 use year.

Be sure Member Services uses as many banked points as possible for your July reservation. If you have some left over, you'll need to find some way to use them before your 2001 use year ends.

Thanks for such a quick reply. I thought that was the case even though I was hoping it was not. Oh, well, looks like we'll be adding a day to our Disney trip this year :O)
