Points question

I have a question. I just booked a trip for next march and borrowed 219 points from our 2009 points allotment. I went to the member website to check our trip details and according to the point summery we have 3 points left to bank from our 2008 points allotment. How can we have 2008 points left if we borrowed from 2009 already? Wouldn't those be used first? Can someone explain this to me? Should I call MS back? TIA

Our UY is september. We had a trip booked for the same week at SSR and switched at the 7 month window to AKV which was 3 points less than the SSR reservation. Could that have something to do with it? We borrowed for that trip too though.
