I was looking to DVC for help today to determine why points have not been added to my existing membership yet (resale closed several weeks ago). I called this morning and the Admin office was very helpful.
They determined the reason was the 2017 dues have not been paid yet and I needed to call the title company.
I did not pay the 2017 dues as part of final payment/closing. I will certainly get the use of the 2017 points, however, I cannot pay them to Disney to get my new points since this contract of points is not mine yet. My contract stated I would be responsible. I did not question the closing cost since the contract closed PRIOR to the amounts for the 2017 dues being released. I assume I would just pay these dues in the normal course of business with my other dues.
I wanted to post this prior to my call to the title company.
Any thoughts ?
