I am interested in renting points from a DVC memeber. But, I am new at this and a little (ok, alot) uncomfortable with giving someone $ and having no way of being assured that we will have place to stay when we get there. If I knew someone who was local, I would feel better about that.

It would probably be a good idea to post with your dates and room size (Studio, 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom, grand villa). Upon seeing that I'm sure members would reply back if they are able to help you.

I can understand that you may be uncomfortable giving your money to a stranger, however please understand that it is a win-win situation for both parties. The renter gets a vacation to Disney World at a very reasonable price (and in my opinion, in the best accommodations also ) and the DVC member gets rid of points that would otherwise be wasted. Don't be afraid.....we don't bite!

I guess I should have been more specific. I am sorry. I am looking for a DVC member in the Saginaw, Michigan area.
