Points Loaded Incorrectly

You could ask for them to transfer some of their points to your contract to make up the difference, if that had any interest for you.

We are literally going through the same thing right now. I just bought resale Aulani and found out 47 points were banked from 2019 out of 191 points that was listed in the Contract as Dec 2020 points. I called Disney and they said it was not a mistake. Now we are working with our broker to resolve this issue. They confirmed it was not in the contract that 47 points were banked and we are asking for $20 per point or for the brokers to get Disney to bank them. So I feel you on this. We bought a contract that specifically could be banked because we will not travel out of state till my son is vaccinated.

My parents are also going through this same thing. 157 points were listed as banked from 2020 into 2021 and then full 160 points for 2021.
Disney loaded them opposite, 160 banked and 157 for current use year. My dad called Disney and they said it wasn’t an error, the owners borrowed 3 points from 2021 instead of using their banked points (why???)

It’s only 3 points so not worth getting too stressed out about, but he did reach out to the listing agent to inquire why it was listed incorrectly.

The only drawback with this, assuming the brokers even have points owned by the business for that resort , is it would use up the OPs one time transfer.

Interesting update: I heard back from the broker and the seller correctly disclosed the amount of points available for each use year. It was the broker who mistakenly wrote up the listing and contract for purchase. Broker has admitted the mistake and asked how to make it right. I started out asking for $19/pp. Haven't heard back yet....
While the broker made the error in the listing and contract, doesn't some of this fall on the seller for signing the contract with incorrect information? I know it's easy to get things mixed up, but I would think they would've verified that everything was correct before signing.

The title company should have caught this too.
