Points for Transfer: up to 242 SSR points

We currently have up to 242 SSR points availabe for Transfer, at $10 per point.

198 of these points are for use year December 2008, and can therefore be used between December 1, 2008 and November 30, 2009. It is my understanding that these points could also be banked if neccasary as they've never been banked or borrowed previously. Member Services and/or many other folks here on the Dis boards may know more about those rules.

We also have 44 points that were banked from use year December 2007. These points can be used between December 1, 2008 and November 30th 2009; but they will expire after November 30th, 2009 and can not be banked again.

We have transferred points before, and found the process to be very smooth and simple, thanks to Member Services.

We'd like to arrange for payment via PayPal; but could also meet in person if geographically possible. We live near the NH/Mass line, and this worked out well with our last transfer, as it provided another level of comfort for both DVC members.

As we are limited to just one transfer in/out per year, we'd really like to transfer all of these points (or, at least the majority) at once, if possible.

CLOSED: Received the points we need. Thx. We are looking for 120 for use in March 2009 for the Beach Club. Transfering would be a good option. I can do paypal.

We are members at SSR also.

We live in Minneapolis. I have bought someone's points before, using paypal and it was a good experience. The other option besides transfering is having you make the reservation for me and then I send you the money. It is up to you - it leaves the one option you have to transfer still open.

Hi Darrah, we'd really prefer to transfer a larger portion of the points, as we're limited to just one transfer per year.

I would possibly be interested in purchasing all of the points for transfer. We currently have two trips planned.

November 2008 - We are taking my parents and thinking of adding one night and changing to BCV if available. (76 points needed)

March 2009 - We are taking DH's parents and thinking of adding one night and changing to VWL if available. (95 points needed)

We would have the additional points for a future trip. We own at SSR with a December use year also.

Do you know how soon the transfer would take place, as I would like to try to change my Nov reservation as soon as possible.
