points for TRANSFER from $5.90 to $8.90

69 points available for TRANSFER ONLY. You need to be a DVC member in good standing who's membership started BEFORE 2009 because these points have a use year of 10/1/08 to 9/30/09. DVC won't let a member who joined in 2009 receive them because that member wasn't a member when the use year started.

These points can be banked into 2010.

Any DVC transferred points retain their original characteristics. That means after you take them into your account they still have the same use year and home resort that they had before you transferred them.

Home resort for these is OKW but you can use them at any other resort with the 7 month window and you can use them at getaway resorts just as you can for your other current points.

I would need to receive a cashier's check and the member to member transfer would be made after the check cleared.

The 69 points can be had for a flat fee of $500. That's less than 7.50 per point.

To all who answered my previous thread - thank you. If you are interested in 69 points let me know.

I am interested but if you already transferred 201 points, how can you make another transfer?

The purchaser was a new DCV member (2009) and during the course of the transfer we discovered that someone with a 2009 member initiation date can't receive transfer points that originated in 2008. Member services worked with us to make a reservation for the purchaser in my name just as if it were a non member rental situation. In the process of doing that, 47 banked points were used toward the rental. The result was that I didn't use my one per year transfer and I have 69 points that can now be transferred.

The 69 points aren't offered at 5.90. See the original post for the original pricing. The 5.90 was for the 251 to 270 points package.

These 69 points were offered at a flat price of $500. That's 7.24 per point.
