Points for rent/transfer

Hello everyone! I have my 196 points available. I have inquired about many dates all the way into October with no availability. I am not sure how to proceed at this point. I am considering calling Disney to see if I can make a reservation and sell the vacation by just changing the name on the reservation. Does anyone have any information about that.

I booked 2 nights at Animal Kingdom a couple days ago for 9/3 & 9/4. I need 5 pts to add to mine to add a reservation on 9/2/09. I am a DVC members. Can your points be transfered?
