i am looking for something in may since this is disney collection can you stay at moderates also? Hello, the points are still available but every time I email folks I don't hear back. I think it is because it is a little bit more expensive then people think with the DVC points. I am willing to negotiate a little on the price but you need to respond to my emails please. It is only common courtesy. I did have one lady let me know she had already booked with another member. I truly appreciate it.

I have noticed that these points are better used at Deluxe properties. The savings is higher compared to rack rates. If I think you will get a better deal else where, I will tell you. Promise.

I know this may be hard for some folks to understand but when I used my points for a cruise, it changes their status in the eyes of dvc. You can no longer go back and use them for DVC properties. It is just a no can do and it is not fun for sure. Now as to why the cost per point is more intensive for non-dvc properties, I am not in the loop on that one. I could speculate but that would only be my opinion. I know that these points would not work for everyone and that's okay. I would like to make the best of a not so fun situation. I hope that helps.

Thanks for clarifying. I don't understand DVC reasoning, because it seems crazy to rent a room for 60 points a night. Wish I could help you out, but just can't afford to pay those rates per night. I am looking to do our room for the 8 nights around $1000
