Points for Rent: $8.50 point

I had a family member cancel on a vacation with less than 30 days. I either have for rent a studio at BCV checking in June 7th to checking out June 12th 5 days for $560. Or I can use these 66 points to make a differnt reservation for $8.50 each. These points will be in holding and will be subject to holding restrictions by DVC.

I don't really understand the "holding" thing, so I will just ask. Can these points be used at any resort. I am looking for either a 1bedroom at AKL checking in August 4 and checking out August 7 or i will take a studio.Looking for the value points room. Just let me know either way.

Just to clarify holding points for those responding needing reservations. Holding points can only be used within a 60 day window. For example, if you need a reservation for Oct 09, I can't make the reservation until Aug 09. I could only make reservations for June and July right now. So I am somewhat limited on the options I can provide for you.

Being sick, she lost a lot of school time this year so we are trying for the summer vacation! Our dates as of right now are July 6th - July 11th. Any resort will be fine, but she likes the beach.
