My preference is to invoice you via Paypal which has a transaction fee of about 3% added. You can pay directly from Paypal or provide a credit card which I never have access to - it's all secured by Paypal. All I will ask you for is an email address to deliver the invoice to.
I've sold a couple of times before successfully. One gentleman offered to be a reference, as I agreed to help him rearrange his reservation when he and his wife became pregnant and their original plans had to change.
