are all incentives the same?

Another incentive option would be the $8 per point incentive instead of the extra points - reducing the cost to $96 instead of $104. Be aware that the developer points must be used within 12 months - used for reservations within 7 months of calling and cannot be banked or transferred.

Everyone gets the same incentive choices, you don't have to worry about that - there is no negotiating for cheaper prices with DVC.

If you were offered $2000 off a 175 point AKV contract you got better then $8 per point discount. The DIP is a great deal, but you have to make sure you know how you will use the points.

We plan to go to paris disney next summer,
maybe disneyworld too,
and any extra, we live 20 min to disneyland and have passes, so we could stay at any one of the DL resorts to use the extra points.

That sounds spectacular! I'd go with the DDP's myself, if I could convince my husband that we need more points (we really don't, we seem to always end up banking or borrowing 5 or 10)! I'd use them for DL Hong Kong!

You better check on that $2000 incentive. That should be for 250 points. $8 x 250 = $2000. Did you discuss buying 250 points or did the guide use this figure as an example to show you how it worked? For 175 points your incentive should be $8 x 175 = $1400.

I don't see them offering $11.43 per point on a 175 point contract and if they did please let me know who the guide is who made this offer as I will surely add on.

We took DDP just to add a Disney cruise.I know its not the best use of points, but it does include all food. This will be our 5th cruise

We were also offered DDP or $8 off the contract. Our contact said the DDP offer ends Aug 31 except for folks who have already been speaking with Disney. For those folks, it'll supposedly end about Sept.7

BWI (Boardwalk Inn = hotel), BWV (Boardwalk Villas = DVC)
WL (Wilderness Lodge = hotel), VWL (Villas at Wilderness Lodge = DVC)
BC (Beach Club = hotel), BCV (Beach Club Villas = DVC)

SSR and OKW are DVC only. (No hotel association)

VB & HH are also DVC only.
