Points for AKL Villas

Does anyone have access to a points chart for AKL Villas?

I'm not a DVC member, but I was curious how many points it would be for a studio from 11/18/07-11/22/07.

I've rented points from DVC owners before and during our trip in November I'd really like to try the AKL villas.

Can someone please post the total amount of points so I can see if it is even worth a shot at trying to rent points.

That depends on which type of accommodation you reserve - Value accommodation is 8 pts/night, Standard view is 10/night, Savannah View is 12/night, and Kilimanjaro Concierege is 14/night.

There are 4 Studio Views at AKV. Value, Standard, Savannah & Concierge.

In addition, you are crossing seasons so November 18-20 would be during Choice Season at the following point values per night:

Value 8
Standard 10
Savannah 12
Concierge 14

November 21 & 22 would be during Magic Season at the following point values per night:

Value 11
Standard 12
Savannah 15
Concierge 17

So, you would need anyhere from 46 - 76 points depending on room category for those dates in a studio.

The ONLY way to guarantee a Savannah View is to reserve the Savannah room category. Not even Concierge Level guarantees a Savannah view.

I read that they will start bookings for the fall in May. Now I need to see if anyone will have any points to rent. It may be difficult, since it will be fairly new at the time.

Might be VERY difficult, since those of us who just purchased are able to start booking then, and only those of us who OWN AKV can book at that time. All other DVC owners must wait until June to book. Since your timeframe is during the Thanksgiving holiday period, I can tell you for sure, there are SEVERAL of us looking to book ourselves at that time.
