At this point I'm second guessing myself and thinking maybe Disney is right after all....
I started calling MS more than 3 months ago because there has been a discrepancy between what I believe is my point balance is and what MS believes is my point balance. I was told my account went under review months ago (per my request) but still both dvcmember.com and MS maintain I have more points than I think I do. Because I've had point transfers the last couple of years I'm not exactly sure of my point balance....at what point do I just accept Disney's accounting? :3dglasses

This might be a silly suggestion but you might ask Disney to fax you the "Points Activity Statement" for the past few years. If you saw the details on paper then maybe that would assist you in figuring out the current status.

Good idea, if the point activity statement is different from what I can view on my dvcmember.com account. In the online statement, points transferred in aren't listed. Also, there's been a posted error for over a year. (our trip to VWL is posted twice with 2 different ressie #'s....reflecting a 2nd room we had cancelled). So if Disney's statement is a mirror image of the online statement, it will pose little help.

The Timeshare Store, Inc.® does not list a property until we get the Points Activity Statement from Disney via fax vs. from the online printout the owner might provide as we find that to be more accurate. If you receive the statement and it is a mirror image of the online statement I agree would pose little help.

Why go through all the work if you're ahead. Record your totals and go on from there.

I agree with this!! If the point discrepancy is in your favor, book yourself another couple nights and enjoy (or, if you *really* feel you can't in good conscience use your points, you can gift them to me - - I'll make great use of them ). Take care!

Thanks all for the little shove it took to kick me over to the dark side....we'll be having some unexpected additional magical moments in Disney next year. Hmmm. pixiedust:

Trying for the extra trip might fix the problem.

Something like this happened to me a few years ago. For months, I had too many points in my account. I knew they didn't belong there, but I couldn't get MS to see the error.

The only way I got it corrected was to try to book a vacation, and suddenly the points were gone.:lmao:
