Points charts for non-DVC WDW resorts?

My wife and I are planning a trip for 1st three weeks of December '08. Most of our time will be spent at DVC resorts for the obvious "value" reasons, but we have never stayed at the Polynesian and want to do so. (Big retirement trip for both of us!) When will 2008 point assesments be posted on the DVC member site, and how far ahead can we book on points?

Yes, the Disney Collection point chart will be posted on the Member site. Any of the non-DVC options may be reserved 11 months ahead and the cruise may be reserved up to 2 years ahead.

You should consider really splurging and go for a Concierge room at the Poly. We did that last weekend (on cash - not points) and had a wonderful time!

Any idea when the point chart for non-DVC resorts will be posted on the DVC member site? Do we call member services to find out the points, or will they not know until the info is up on the site? Thanks Doc!

MS will know the points as soon as they are available - and before they are posted on the member site - so you should be able to get that info from MS.

Some of the Disney Collection is available for booking already (and has been for a week or two). Specifically, I know DLR is available and believe the WDW resorts are too. I'm not quite as sure about Tokyo and Paris. The last time I checked, the info had not been added to the member's site, but since OP is interested in the Polynesian, MS can already book 08 dates within the 11 month window.
