Points Chart...

Last year I planned my family vacation no problem, used points chart on members website. This year it's only available to download??? I really can't do that with my device. Anywhere else I can view this info?

google DVC points chart. You will find several sites that post them.

The DIS has links to the charts. Look for the DVC tab in the bar just under the Disboards logo at the top of the page. Click it and then scroll down to the links for the charts.

There are also several DVC point calculator apps for iPhones and Android to use with all of the correct point charts, they can even calculate your point usage across different seasons.

Thanks. I was told by member services to be careful as those ate not always the revised version.

Yes, it is good to always double check them, but with the way the internet is today most of the information on DVC is almost updated to the very minute that Disney puts out the information.

Disboard usually has all the latest information about Disney within minutes of it being posted.

On a whole this is great for many. Unfortunately I have a Tracfone which does not have much memory. I can't really add apps as I get prompts that my memory is full and can't download unless I get rid of something (and I really don't have extras, only what came with the phone which you cannot delete).

Sorry, did not realize you meant the calculator on the Dis site. That's a great help because I am comparing points needed for different resorts. I have at least 8 people but could be up to 12. I will book my home at 11 months out but would like to know my options for 7 months out.

Ooh! I've actually used them in the past to help me rent some of my points. Did not know they had a calculator. Great to know! This is becoming easier and better. To be honest, I was a bit disappointed that I could not rely on the DVC Members website especially since we paid so much for the vacation club.

I am planning a BLT trip in Oct. 2020 => I may be upwards to 15 points shy (even after borrowing).

It is my understanding that DVC can rent upwards to a certain point limit. Does anyone know what that limit is and $ amount?

Up to 24 points per membership per use year. Believe current price is $19 pp. These are known as One Time Use (OTU) points and may only be used at the 7 month window. ( So no home resort priority for those points). You must call MS to purchase and use. They do not ever show in your online account.
