Points Chart and the DVC Points Calculator on DIS

I have been researching staying at the Polynesian and checking out points needed vs. cash needed and noticed that there is a discrepancy between the points chart in the member guidebook and the DVC Points Calculator on DIS. In October for the middle of the week the Points Calculator states that it is 33 points and adventure season. However, the Member Guidebook states that October is regular season and it is 37 points. Can I assume that the Member Guidebook is correct and the Points Calculator is incorrect?

Go with the Member Guidebook. The Calculator has been known to be incorrect.

The point charts were changed this year to reflect the seasons of the "destination" resort. Also, Disney decided to move October into regular season from Value season a year or two ago. I suspect the Calculator just wasn't completely updated to reflect those changes. It's only a guide, anyway. MS/Guidebook charts have the official info. I'm sure that we'd have gotten a correction if the Guidebook was in error.
