Yes. It will technically be two separate reservations but usually they can be linked so you don't have to move rooms (as long as both are same resort and room type/size of course.)

You can do that but it has to be for whole nights. For example, you could do 5 nights points and 2 nights cash.

If you book the cash nights with member services, they will link it to your points reservation. If you book the cash nights through CRO, they can note your reservations but they can't officially link them, you will have to check out and check back in.
