Point Tsf Clarification

I have Oct UY. I have 0 pts available in 2013. I want to borrow 150 pts from my own 2014 UY contract. I then need to 'top up' 32 points via tsf from another member (planning on using rent/trade board to find member willing to tsf to me) and make ressie for grand total 182 pts for travel March 10th 2014 (yes, in a week and a half).

Is this possible, any issues with me borrowing from my own contract and adding to tsf'd points?

No, sounds right. It might be hard to get someone willing to transfer so few points. You wouldn't be allowed another transfer until Oct, and the other person wouldn't be allowed another one till their next UY.

Also remember that they can only transfer current UY points, not borrowed or banked points.

You might actually find it easier to rent someone elses points for the stay, and then rent yours out to pay for it.

It sounds like you want to use those points for a stay that begins March 14, 2014. As you say, that's less than 2 weeks away. Borrowing is not a problem, nor is making a reservation if the villa you want is still available.

However, finding someone to transfer points to you in that short of a time may be a challenge.

Assuming you can find someone to transfer points to you that will be valid for your vacation dates, and assuming there is availability for what you want, MS should definitely be able to make it happen for you with the transferred and borrowed points.
