Point Transfer Question

I'm considering a 135 point transfer so I can get a separate room for family members while I'm vacationing at WDW.

If I accept a transfer, do the points fall within the regulations for my existing contract? or do they stay under the owner's contract?

I'm looking to use the transfer points in November and my use month is October. Would the transferred points fall subject to my usage requirements? or would they remain under whomever I am getting them from?
