Point Transfer Question

Is there any limit on how many points can be transferred from one contract to another? Yes I know you can only do it once and if you own both contracts (the perspective I want to know about) you use up the transfer on both contracts.

If an example makes it easier...if I had a 150 point contract and I were buying a 1000 point contract fully loaded how many points could I move? For the sake of argument lets say the contracts are both Dec use year and fully loaded. 2005's points were 100% banked into 2006 and nothing further has been banked or borrowed.

...then if the 150 point contract is on a train headed east...just kidding...anybody able to help me?

There is no limit on the number of points that may be transferred - just on the number of transfers.

Unless you are needing to transfer in order to reserve a cruise or other non-DVC option, it probably isn't necessary to transfer points between your contracts as the points may already be used to make your reservations in either contract (11 months ahead if they are the same home resort and they may be combined at 7 months if different home resorts).
